Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Australia (SPA) Professional Training
Registration Terms and Conditions
1. The Organiser for the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Professional Training within Australia and New Zealand is Soma Mind Pty Ltd, trading as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Australia (SPA). The Organiser has entered into a contractual agreement with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy International (SPI) whose central office is located 11001 W 120th Ave, Suite 400
Broomfield, CO 80021
USA.
SPI has licensed to the Organiser the limited, exclusive, non-transferable right to utilise the supplied training material only in SPI approved trainings and only when such trainings are led by a certified SPI trainer The Organiser is granted the right to promote, advertise and publicise the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Professional trainings.
2. I wish to enroll in the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Professional Training Level I
I understand that my application is not complete until all required support documents have been received by the Organiser.
I acknowledge that if any items are missing my application will be returned to me for completion.
3. I understand and accept that upon the offer of a place on the training, a non-refundable deposit of $500 AUD will become due. Final confirmation of a place on the training cannot be made until the deposit has been received.
4. I understand that the class size is limited and applicants will be placed on a waiting list if registrations are received after the class has filled. If a deposit has already been paid it may be refunded immediately if the applicant does not wish to be placed on the waiting list.
5. On receiving acceptance of the place offered on any training level, I thereby undertake responsibility for the payment in full of the fees applicable to the selected training level and for making payments on the specified due date(s).
Payment plans are due and payable as stated on the supplied invoice. I acknowledge that if Early Bird rates are not paid by the specified deadline then the training fee will revert to the Standard training fee.
6. I am committing to the entire training level as stated on the application form and the fees as published. I am able to fulfil any existing financial commitments and to commit to the total cost of the training level specified.
7. I accept that all payments for tuition fees and all refunds to applicants will be made in the local currency of the training location in which I have enrolled i.e. AUD for Australian locations. Any payment plan set up fees, card fees or bank transfer fees incurred are payable by the applicant, including any intermediary bank transfer fees.
8. Training Transfer Policy: Tuition may be transferred to a new location of the same level if it is being run in Australia in the same year for a $150 transfer fee if the request is made at least 60 days prior to the training start date. Tuition may not be transferred to a training outside of Australia.
9. I understand and accept that any cancellation must be made in writing to hello@sensorimotorpsychotherapyaustralia.com I accept it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure the notice of cancellation has been received by the Organiser. If a confirmation of cancellation reply is not received via return email within 48 hours it is the participant’s responsibility to contact the Organiser directly by phone.
10. In the event of cancellation of a place by a participant after a registration acceptance acknowledgement has been sent and a deposit paid the following cancellation policy applies:
Cancellations before the training begins: 60 or more days prior to the first scheduled Training date: Participants will receive a full refund of tuition paid, including the original deposit. The application fee is non-refundable.
30-1 day prior to the first scheduled Training date: Participants will receive a full refund of tuition paid minus the initial $500 deposit. The application fee is non-refundable.
These cancellation terms shall apply in the event of any unforeseen personal circumstance, including ill health or pregnancy.
11. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule any module prior to the start date of the module due to low enrolment, an instructor’s inability to attend the training where no substitute instructor is available or any other unforeseen legitimate circumstances.
Should a module be cancelled, enrolled participants will be notified as soon as possible. A full refund of the module fee will be issued or the funds may be transferred to another module. No liability shall be held by the Organiser to any other party or for any expenses incurred by the participant due to cancellation or postponement, including but not limited to airline cancellation fees, hotel cancellation fees and bank transfer fees.
12. The Organiser reserves the right to alter dates or venues and substitute instructors, if required, due to any unforeseen or exceptional legitimate circumstance. No liability shall be held by the Organiser to any other party for costs incurred.
13. The Organiser will endeavour, that for the duration of each level of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Professional Training the participant is enrolled in to maintain the tuition fees as originally published for each training level. However, the Organiser reserves the right to adjust the fees if necessary due to, but not limited to, changes in the USD FX currency rate, necessary substitution of instructors and any other unforeseeable legitimate circumstances.
14. I acknowledge that the above terms and conditions shall apply to all to all training levels of the of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Professional Training held online or in person within Australia.
15. I acknowledge that if any clause within this agreement is in whole or in part invalid or unenforceable, or loses its validity or enforceability, the validity of the remaining clauses shall not be affected. Instead of requiring that an invalid or unenforceable clause be replaced with a valid clause, the general purpose and meaning of the clause will be adhered to by the contracting parties to the full extent that it is legally possible to do so.
By signing this form, the participant acknowledges that he/she/they have read and understood the above terms and conditions and agree to the terms stated.
