We are so pleased that you are ready to begin your SP Level II journey!

We welcome applications from mental health professionals across Australia and beyond who have completed their SP level I training and are ready to engage in a transformative, body-oriented learning journey for developmental and attachment injury.

Enrolment in Level II requires successful completion of level I and faculty recommendation

Enrolment in Level II is conditional upon the successful completion of Level I and a recommendation from your Level I Trainer/s. This recommendation forms part of the Level II application process and helps us ensure that participants are ready to progress to the next stage of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training.

Level II builds upon the foundational knowledge, skills and experiential learning developed throughout Level I. The recommendation provides an opportunity for Level I Faculty to consider a participant’s overall engagement with the training, integration of foundational Sensorimotor Psychotherapy principles and skills, and readiness to undertake the increased depth and complexity of Level II learning. This process is intended to support both the individual participant and the learning community. Level II is highly experiential and relational, and establishing a cohort with an appropriate level of foundational competency and readiness helps us maintain a safe, supportive and effective learning environment for everyone.


Applying While Completing Level I?

As applications for Level II may at times open before some Level I cohorts have completed their training, participants who are currently enrolled in Level I are welcome to apply.

You do not need to have completed Level I at the time of application, however, successful completion of Level I is required before the Level II training begins. Any offer of a place in Level II made prior to completion of Level I will therefore be conditional upon successfully completion of your Level I training and recommendation of progression by your trainer/s.

If a participant does not successfully complete Level I or is not recommended to progress, their enrolment in Level II cannot proceed
Please note: Where demand exceeds available places, SPA may give consideration to applicants who have already completed Level I and are awaiting the opportunity to continue their training.
